Our dual-degree program in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling is designed for students seeking the comprehensive training needed to secure licenses as both a School Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
You will be fully prepared to support youth in school settings as well as vital mental health services in broader clinical and community environments.

In each of our master鈥檚 programs, you will get the supervised, hands-on experience to build your skills, confidence, and professional network long before you graduate.
Mental Health Counseling
Experience in this program has two steps:
- 100+-hour practicum, observing licensed professionals and beginning work with clients under very close supervision.
- 600+-hour internship, taking on the day-to-day role of a counselor

School Adjustment Counseling & School Counseling
- School Adjustment: 900-hour, yearlong practicum in a comprehensive school system under the supervision of a school adjustment counselor.
- School Counseling: 600-hour, yearlong practicum in a Mass. public school under the supervision of a professional school counselor.
