Ann Wolbert Burgess, D.N.Sc., APRN, FAAN

Ann Wolbert Burgess, D.N.Sc., APRN, FAAN, is an internationally recognized pioneer in the assessment and treatment of victims of trauma and abuse, and author of several books, including听Expert Witness: The Weight of Our Testimony When Justice Hangs in the Balance听and听A Killer by Design: Murderers, Mindhunters, and My Quest to Decipher the Criminal Mind. She has received numerous honors including the Sigma Theta Tau International Audrey Hepburn Award, the American Nurses鈥 Association Hildegard Peplau Award, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Episteme Laureate Award. Her courtroom testimony has been described as 鈥済roundbreaking,鈥 and she has been called a 鈥渘ursing pathfinder.鈥

Her research with victims began when she co-founded, with 艾可直播 College sociologist Lynda Lytle Holmstrom, one of the first hospital-based crisis counseling programs at 艾可直播 City Hospital. She then worked with FBI Academy special agents to study serial offenders, and the links between child abuse, juvenile delinquency, and subsequent perpetration. Her work with 艾可直播 College nursing colleague Carol Hartman led to the study of very young victims and the impact of trauma on their growth and development, their families and communities. Her work continues in the study of elder abuse in nursing homes, cyberstalking, and Internet sex crimes. She teaches courses in Victimology, Forensic Science, Forensic Mental Health, Case Studies in Forensics and Forensic Science Lab.

Katelyn Tulp McNair, PhD, NP, RN听earned her PhD at the William F. Connell School of Nursing, 艾可直播 College, USA. Her dissertation examines disclosure patterns and forensic examination seeking behavior of sexual assault survivors in the era of #MeToo. Her most recent publication is 'Sexual Misconduct Policies at Institutes of Higher Education: An Integrative Review'. She currently the Program Director of the BID Plymouth Breast Center.

Beth McNutt Clark

Beth McNutt-Clarke, D.N.P., M.B.A., RN, CWOCN, is an assistant professor of the practice at the Connell School of Nursing.听She is an advanced practice nurse who specializes in pressure injury prevention and wound management. McNutt-Clarke has been an educator for over two decades, having taught primary health care and population health nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University and the University of Toronto before coming to 艾可直播 College. In addition to her nursing credentials, she also holds an M.B.A. from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.

Patricia A. Tabloski, Ph.D., GNP-BC, FGSA, FAAN

Patricia A. Tabloski, Ph.D., GNP-BC, FGSA, FAAN is an associate professor at the Connell School of Nursing. Dr. Tabloski鈥檚 work focuses on the epidemiology and treatment of various threats to quality of life and function in older adults. This work has involved elucidating risk factors for poor outcomes, the development and testing of non-pharmacologic interventions to improve outcomes, and meta-analyses to determine the impact of specific nursing interventions. She has been a geriatric educator and clinician for over 35 years and has cared for many older adults in the acute and long-term care settings.Dr. Tabloski teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in gerontology, palliative and hospice care, and pharmacology. 听She works with undergraduate, masters and doctoral students pursuing specialty in care of the older adult.Dr. Tabloski was selected to serve as a 艾可直播mentor and scholar at the John A. Hartford Foundation, Institute for Geriatric Nursing at New York University in June, 2002. 听Additionally, she was a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, School of Nursing in Manchester, UK. She has lectured on gerontology in Budapest, Hungary and Zhejiang Province, China. 听She serves on review panels for top-tier nursing journals, is a grant application reviewer, and maintains certification as an advanced practice gerontological nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. 听She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the national honor society of nursing, and the American Geriatric Society, serving on the Professional Education Committee for three years. 听She was awarded fellowship in 2002 in the Gerontological Society of America and in 2010 in the American Academy of Nursing.Dr. Tabloski currently serves as an Adjunct Scientist with the Aging Brain Center, Hinda and Arthur Marcus Institute for Aging Research, Hebrew SeniorLife.

Jeff Wood

Jeff Wood

Upon leaving the Army, Wood spent two years in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, protecting U.S. and foreign dignitaries, including Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright. He also served as an Assistant Regional Security Officer in the U.S. Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Wood entered the Federal Bureau of Investigation, serving in various investigative and supervisory positions in 艾可直播, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. 听Wood, as the FBI representative to the Bureau of Justice Assistance, instructed local, state, and federal law enforcement officers around the country on conducting gang investigations. 听He recently retired from the FBI and now serves as an adjunct professor for 艾可直播 College.
