Drawing God

Drawing God is a children's book by Karen Kiefer and illustrated by Kathy DeWitt. The story introduces Emma, a young artist whose contagious faith, creativity, and courage inspire her classmates to begin to see God. The story inspired The Drawing God Project, an ongoing global movement that encourages all to imagine, create, and share how they see God.

Drawing God encourages聽children to discover what inspires their very own faith imagination, and to realize the contagious faith that lives powerfully within them. Emma's story of creativity and courage seeks to inspire more people to think and talk about how and where they see God.

Every November on World Drawing God Day, individuals, families, religious education classes, and schoolchildren everywhere are encouraged to draw (or write, sing, build...) their own pictures of God. Each year, thousands of participants post their masterpieces online using the hashtag #drawinggod.聽Images of God from all around the world are housed in the Drawing God Museum.听听
