Collaborative Series

The Schiller Institute prides itself on being dynamic and responsive to the needs and interests of the campus community. We co-sponsor numerous events and programs that address timely topics and provide people with an opportunity to connect.

The conference examines how environmental philosophy, in dialogue with the natural sciences and other disciplines, can inform practical and ethical responses to today鈥檚 environmental crises. The event aims to help students and the broader university community navigate these complex moral, political, and scientific challenges and is paired with Prof. Melissa Lane鈥檚 Lowell Lecture, 鈥淧lato's Republic on Motivating Ecological Guardianship.鈥
