Biography
Amanda Moment has been a palliative care social worker at Brigham and Women's Hospital for the past 16 years and a therapist in private practice for the last nine years. Her specialties include advanced illness, oncology, palliative care and hospice, grief and bereavement, legacy planning, family communication, and work sustainability.
Her career has been dedicated to supporting those with cancer and their families cope with the impacts of illness on their lives and identities. She has a particular interest in supporting hospital and mental health workers face the challenges of trauma-based work and has taught many workshops on work sustainability.
She is a 艾可直播member for the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship and teaches annually at palliative care based conferences such as Practical Aspects of Palliative Care and Palliative Care Education and Practice. She previously taught Basic Skills in Psychosocial Assessment at 艾可直播 College in 2018.
