CSTM New Student Orientation

CSTM orientation is required for all new degree and certificate students and will provide you with an introduction to life at CSTM.Ìý Orientation will be held on:

Getting Started

Activating °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College Credentials

Every °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College student, faculty, and staff member has a unique username that is assigned when you first become a member of the BC community. Your username is usually some variation of your last name. Most electronic services and resources restricted to the BC community, including email and Agora Portal, require authentication by entering your username and password.Ìý Click here for detailed information about activating your BC credentials and creating passwords.

Activating °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College Email

°¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College provides email services for all affiliatedÌýstudents, °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥and staff (including part time and visiting °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥and staff). Click here for detailed information on setting up your BC email address.

IMPORTANT:ÌýGoogle will prompt you to set up 2-Step Verification. Don’t delay setting it up. You have 7 days after logging into your Gmail account to set up 2-Step Verification. If you don’t set it up within 7 days, you will be locked out of your account, and need to contact the BC ITS Help Center for assistance (617) 552-HELP (4357).

Students will be assigned an advisor in early August. Your advisor will reach out to schedule a meeting for August 19-20. You must meet with your advisor before registering for courses.

Registration for all new CSTM students opens up at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025. You may register yourself online or contact Denee KinnemoreÌýOR Cara Burke.Ìý

If you want to register yourself online, you will use Eagle Apps, °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College's student services system. Click here for step-by-step instructions to register for courses in Eagle Apps. You will need your BC credentials and also be connected to the BC VPN (if you are off campus)Ìýin order to access this website. Activate BC Zoom Account

All students should activate their BC Zoom account. This will be used for a number of purposes, including meetings and select class sessions. If you are taking an ONLINE SYNCHRONOUS class, your entire course will be conducted over Zoom.

COURSES FOR CREDIT ($1,370 per credit)

COURSES FOR AUDIT ($685 per audit credit)

Classes begin on Monday, August 26. The add/drop period ends on Wednesday, September 3. Please make sure that you have registered for all courses (including BTI) by that day.Ìý If you drop a course after that date, you will be responsible for paying all or a portion of tuition and fees in accordance with the refund schedule.

All °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College students are issued Eagle One Cards through the Office of Student Services in Lyons Hall. Proof of identification must be presented in order to be issued an Eagle One Card. The initial fee is $50 and will automatically be billed to your student account.

Health Insurance

All students listed below areÌýautomatically enrolledÌýin and billed for the student health insurance plan. If you would like to waive this insurance, you must do so by September 19, 2025.ÌýIf you are a part-time studentÌý (taking less than 7 credits in a semester) and want to enroll in student health insurance you need to opt in via the Agora Portal.ÌýLearn more here.

Immunization Requirements

Massachusetts State Law requires full-time and part-time students to show proof of required immunizations.ÌýAll information must be submitted 30 days prior to the start of classes.Ìý Failure to do so will result in a $85 non-refundable late fee and you will not be able to register for next semester classes.ÌýÌýMore information about the immunization requirements can be foundÌýhere.

°¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College has a payÌýparkingÌýsystem. All individuals usingÌýparkingÌýat °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College are required to pay.ÌýÌý

ParkingÌýpermit applications can be found on the Transportation and ParkingÌýwebsite.ÌýStudents may order parking permits in advance through the Agora Portal and then pick up the parking permit the following day at Student Services in Lyons Hall. Day parking permits are also available for purchase through Agora Portal.
